An additional highlight of the evening’s dinner are the recognitions and accomplishments of the Commerce Industrial Council’s business and community leaders whose vision has shaped the city and set the stage for years of continued prosperity.  We will recognize Haig Papaian from the Commerce Casino with this year’s George Tumanjan Philanthropic Award and Jean Robinson Chamber Ambassador of the Year Award.  The George Tumanjan Philanthropic Award honors an individual of a member company/business or a member company/business, who has exemplary commitment and dedication to improving the quality of life of our business community, our Chamber, and our region as a whole. The Chamber Ambassador of the Year Award is bestowed to an ambassador who goes out of their way to promote the CIC Chamber in a positive way and for their dedication in supporting the chamber and its programs throughout the past year.


A selection of items will be auctioned at our “Silent Auction” this year, and if you participated last year, this year’s items promise to be even better!  Bidding for select items will take place commencing at 5:30 PM.  There will be several tables set up for the Silent Auction.  Bidding for all of the items will end roughly before the start of the evening’s program.

Proceeds from the Silent Auction make it possible for the Chamber to provide “The Progressive Voice for Business.”  The Chamber empowers businesses with community and government advocacy, human resource and economic development, and a multitude of relevant business services.  We work hard to provide the right tools for economic success.

So enjoy the Chamber’s own Silent Auction while you join in celebrating the installation of our 2017 Board President, new officers and board members, and honoring deserving members with awards for excellence.


If you would like to donate an item for our silent auction, please either e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), or fax it to (323) 728-7565.  A list of ideas from past auctions is included on the form.  Auction item donors will receive free, unlimited publicity and exposure at the evening’s event, its program, and on our website.

DEADLINE for all silent auction donation items is Friday, February 17th, so we have time to produce the materials for the event.  Please bring the actual item(s) f to the Chamber Offices no later than Friday, February 17, 2017, or contact us and we’ll arrange to have it picked up!
